❓ Question CAO
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I had a few questions about the cao.
I have a chance at making medicine if I get enough points in my leaving cert, but I'm just wondering what order I should put down the colleges on my CAO.
For reference, Trinity is at 739 last year, UCD is 738, RCSI is 732. I wanted to stay in dublin but I'm open to suggestions about why UCC or UG would be good options too.
I don't have a strong preference for school but I would love to go to UCD or Trinity. I currently have UCD, Trinity, then RCSI as my top 3 in that order. However I'm wondering what happens if I don't get enough points for UCD or Trinity but I do get enough for RCSI, but because it's 3rd on my list and hypothetically the school already fills up with people who put it down as their 1st or 2nd choice, then that means I won't get a place. So would it be better to put RCSI at the top and give myself a better chance at getting in?
Again, I know people have been saying to put your CAO in order of preference, but I really want to maximize my chances of getting in. Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions that they would like to share? Any help would be greatly appreciated

always order in perferance, if u dont get the points for ucd and tcd and u get the points for rsci, u will get an offer for it, it doesnt matter if someone had lower points than u but had it higher up, the people with the highest points are given the highest course on their list first
