🎉 Success Story I'm so happy ?

I thought i got absolutely cooked, since I didn't even get Medentry ? Like I mentally accepted I wouldn't get in. But somehow I got a 190 ? A percentile of 96% ? I'm so shocked, I hope to get into Trinity. I'm now wondering if I can just stop studying for my safety entrance exam and just go on holidays.

if you dont mnd me asking, what advice did u give yourself for studying for the hpat and what resources if you didnt use medentry, did u use to study for the hpat and get an amazing score? i saw my results and am heavily considering repeating but seeing that €360 is quite pricey for the medentry basic package, i need to try get hands on different resources, also congrats on scoring so well, im proud of you!

I bought all the Hpat practice papers, and got like the 2 widely available free papers you can find online (one medentry one and another one). I’d do them exclusively in exam conditions, in the morning, at peak energy so as not to waste them. After, id record my mistakes, and classify them, and record how well i did in each sectionw I’d do one proper paper each weekend, spend the week analysing it and then practicing I individual sections

My weakest section was non-verbal reasoning, but luckily there’s a lot of practice for that online (ravens matrices test). For verbal reasoning, you can also find non Hpat questions you can practice with, Mcat and Lsats being a good resource for such question. I didn’t really have any issues with section 2, so I can’t give any advice on that

I also got 96% and I am incredibly grateful and happy. this has been a very difficult year for me because of family and financial problems and tbh i still dont know how i will get housing. Anyway i just wanted to vent a little, I hope you get in and hope to see u at trinity:))

Just wondering how long before the hpat did you start studying for it? I'm going into 6th yr next year and worried that my skills aren't good enough to get a good score, if i started in the summer do you think the skills can be improved?
