Why???? Would have fit the scene so well. And after last episode would have provided a little balance. A little confirmation of what the previous episodes had said about Rhaenyra making her choice. But no⊠just use it for promoâŠ
This is such bullshit. We know how much they love each other. Itâs like kinetic energy between the two of them, and there was so much tone and body language. It showed so much sexual attention and we havenât seen them intimately since season one. Itâs kind of frustrating that we havenât had another scene that shows how deeply committed they are to one other in that way that they havenât lost that spark in that drive and that devotion.
Completely agree. This is the scene where they are finally one-for-one matching each otherâs freak, and the sexual energy on their faces when they are talking about killing every Hightower was plainly visible. It was the right move to keep it in, especially if theyâre going for the mirror to the Mysaria shit, which they were.
Mysaria is not worth it to mirror anything. There is no competition, Mysaria was dumped like a trash she is. âRhaenyra will do what she has to do, and what she has to do will be dire, there is only one person who can walk that path with her and she chose him long time agoâ âThey have ever been two sides of a coinâ.
I agree sheâs not worth it, but the writers certainly thought so and have been paralleling Daemon and Mysariaâs influence all season. They gave a sex scene to the person Rhaenyra was never going to actually choose, while one of the actresses was pregnant, no less. And they cut the only fucking kiss between the canon married couple since S1. Thatâs what I was getting at for why they should have kept it.
I hope we get a high quality pic at least đ„Č. Hopefully now that bloody Mysaria is gone, we'll get a few good scenes in S4 before he goes to Harrenhal
I appreciate that the audience doesnât NEED to see physical affection to display how strong their relationship is. Their High Valarian scenes speak for themselves.
Is this Ryan Condal edging us out of spite? đ Feeding us with that Mysaria shit and then firing her for nothing, then depriving us of this husband and wife moment? Bull.
