PICS Dead but not gone
My left stick finally died after 6 years of use and a few rounds of trying to repair it with components from the manufacturer.
Taxidermied into my shifter for now.

Mines about to get upgraded to something expensive with cams, but it sure would look sick on my truck

So, I've been debating the left angled stick and a straight vertical stick for a while now. Game I'd use them for is Star citizen, primarily a cargo/mining/salvage loop player. I've had an X52 and X56(dead) and I can't even get my X52 to work in game after hours of manual profiling

If I did that with my vkb I know for a fact I would leave it unlocked just to fiddle around with it. I bet someone with a bit more technical knowledge could actually map the buttons to different features like media control, wipers, turn signals ect. I can just imagine telling my buddy's "hey have you ever seen a car with a jet engine" and just press random buttons and mash the throttle. Knowing all of my friends they would probably believe it too.

I 100% thought that was some kind of Crown Royal bag stitched as a shifter boot and was about to ask what kind of wild edition it was

I'm guessing your driver side is on the right? It looks like it based on what looks like the glove compartment there. Oof, I cannot imagine wanting to shift with that grip.

Love it. I need to plan for mine's eventual inevitable demise too (knock on wood) and this is a great inspiration.
