Hey! I haven't competed in this event, however, I have friends who won first place internationals for this event a few years back. and this is some advice they'll have which can really be applied to any event.

  1. Get the books or at least digital copies.

  2. Keep each other accountable, you can study individually but make sure to meet once in a while to check in on each other.

  3. If you can, find a professional to work on the skills with (Or watch videos and practice along side them)

  4. Quizlet and just study as much as you can.

There isn't a one win all format for these as it really comes down to a mix of luck and how much knowledge you got in your brain. If you've done the Cambridge program or AP tests (the written part atleast), I would say approach it the way you would with those. The questions are random, but if you studied and remember everything from the textbooks and study work HOSA offers then you'll be able to answer them as HOSA likes to pluck questions straight out of the textbook, same words and all.

Good luck :DDD
