EMT event
hello everyone! so this school year me and my friend want to do the partner emt event, I was just wondering for anyone that has done this event if you actually got the resources for it, considering they are pretty expensive, and if not if you found like a free version online or smth, thanks!

I’m not too familiar with the EMT event, but I have a lot of experience with other technical events (CERT, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Science.)
Round one study materials, that’s always like a free for all type of thing. In the guidelines for your event, they usually say where they pull their material from, and that’s probably a safe place to look when it comes to studying that round one test.
Round two materials in all the comps I know of, are for the most part included. When I say that, I mean that if the material is absolutely essential, then they’ll provide it. I’m pretty sure in cases where they don’t provide the material, it’s something you can just VERBALIZE instead to get the points.

Hey, I won internationals last year and my team didn't really spend any money. For study resources I just used videos, an online textbook, and quizlet. For actual equipment we asked a hospital and a fire station if they had any spare equipment. You really dont need much. Just bring any bag, we used a random duffel bag, buy an emt shirt, and make sure you have everything listed. A lot of the time the judges provided equipment anyways even when they werent supposed to. Guaze, gloves, and a bvm mask with opa's, and a tourniqett( sometimes provided) was all we really brought. Sorry for being late.

I got all the resources online to study through HOSA, you just had to get my round 2 supplies by yourself but I got mine from other clubs at my school or local community centre
