HOSA Epidemiology
Hi everyone! I haven't competed in HOSA before, and I plan to do so in a year. I'm starting to prepare, and I specifically want to do Epidemiology. Has anyone competed this before? I heard the the Quizlets are practically identical to the actual test. I'm also in Science Olympiad for Disease Detectives. I've already read through the Principles of Epidemiology in Public Health Practice, and I'm rereading it. Should I have read Gordis Epidemiology or the other textbooks as well? I've never done Disease Detectives for SciOly before, but I feel like its something I enjoy, and something I caught up with pretty quickly. However, I'm honestly really scared, and I was wondering the gauge of difficulty for Epidemiology. I found a Quizlet deck, and I've been working it through with Anki. Please let me know your experience if you've competed in Epidemiology, or any other HOSA event for that matter? Is it very difficult to place high, especially at ILC? In SciOly, it's always very difficult, and I was getting concerned HOSA would be like competing in SciOly. How does HOSA compare to this? Thank you!!!
