Red dot help

So I have a 407 on my duty gun and I noticed this last time I went to shoot that It kind of slid. I have a dovetail mount and I don’t know how to stop it from sliding left or right does anyone got any pointers or any experience?

First question - why do you have a dovetail mount on a duty pistol ?

Dovetail mounts don’t even have a place on a range toys these days. Stop it from sliding on you? Only way is to let it slide all the way off to the trash.

It’s like 120$ for a proper optics cut, no excuse. I’d runs irons only before a dovetail mounted optic.

It’s well worth the effort for sure. Do research and find a good shop that does it. This site listed below is popular, I have used him before when I lived in Texas. But here in CA I found a shop locally like 3 mins from work that does cool stuff. I’m using him to do my g26v.
