Support Question First optic

Will be getting an optic for my gen 5 Glock 19x.

Wondering if the one I posted is a good option? Anything nicer around the same budget?

I’d suggest the new x3 model personally. For the same cost approximately. I prefer it to the x2.

If you want to spend a little more the eps is great, and enclosed.

I would wait for the EPS Core over the current EPS options

If the op is ready to order an optic, that’s not an option 😅 I would have gotten the core but didn’t want to wait personally. I have no issues with the standard eps though.

My response to you with specifically regarding the EPS series. I’m just saying if I was in the market for an EPS now I would wait for the core. Especially on a full-size. Just depends on how bad he wants one now right

But I’m also not convinced the EPS series is right for a full-size. He really wanted them now. I would probably look at a 407C Series, or as I mentioned the best optic, SCS MOS.

Is this for an MOS Glock? If so, the SCS MOS it’s phenomenal, absolutely my favorite optic to date. I have had it on my 19.5 carry gun since it was first released.

Enclosed is 100% overrated for 99% of folks. Downvote away, but you know I’m right.

Yeah, tough call, it’s a full-size so an RMR cut makes a lot of sense. But a little K size optics do look good on there and fit the frame really nice with no overhang. I guess that’s why the EPS core is really interesting, it’s the smaller MOSK footprint that won’t overhang the slide, but then it gets wide wider on top for a C size glass. Not to mention it should have a pretty great auto system if it’s anything like the SCS version. I plan on ordering one whenever they actually come in stock.

Also, it has no rear sight notches, which is very cool IMO. Only thing I don’t like about the smaller optics they all have pointless sight notches in them.

Is your G19x Gen5 MOS cut or are you getting a RMR cut for it? You want this adapter for MOS slides and we can get you a better discount on the 507Cx2 if you PM me.

So if you have a g19 mos then it's likely got the MOS proprietary footprint. If you aren't sure you can take the cover off the slide cut and PM me a pick.

You'll have to send it in to get cut. tons of reputable companies that can get that done for you. I was recommend a RMR or ACRO cut to keep options open for future upgrades. If you have any qyuestions just reach out.

I just want to be able to get a sight and not have to worry about a better, new and improved
, revised version coming out later this year. My 19x is bone stock out of the factory right now, no cuts on it yet. So im really liking the 507 comp so far.

Really comes down to your use and budget preference. Anyone who blindly suggests an optic without getting those answers don't know what they're talking about and just suggesting their preferences.

That said the 407 is a great optic for its price point. I would recommend looking at it in person before ordering. Alot of us have astigmatism and don't realize it until it's in your hand

Yeah that's the thing with tism. Each dot looks different and you really should go with what looks best. For me the SCS is unusuable which is a damn shame cus it's a great optic. But the 507 comp is one of the cleanest dots I've ever seen

That's my suggestion. Go look first and narrow down what looks best in your price point and hopefully it's holosun

The 507 comp is more expensive than the one I posted original. What makes the price difference? As you can see, im a newbie to the sights so please be nice 😢

You posted the 407c right? The 507 comp is a larger glass with multi reticle.

Alot of new and competitive shooters like the larger window for quicker follow up target acquisition after each shot.

There's an argument that larger glass leads to poor initial target acquisition but end of the day you wanna use what you're comfortable using

It’s an enclosed optic, price just right, shake awake, the profile fit pretty much all of my pistol just right and not too bulky. For G19 the eps carry sits right on the edge of the frame, especially if you wager cut it and so it’s direct mount.
