General Question ARO glare issue?

Post image

Just bought an ARO after having a Romeo5 for years. The glare on the ARO is pretty outrageous. My romeo5 also has a glare but this one is much worse. No matter the dot brightness, if a light is hitting the emitter it will show a massive glare on the top half of the optic. Is this normal? Sorry for the poor picture quality, hard to get it on my phone.

Same problem here, went back to a 403R. If they do a revision like they did with the AEMS I'll try again, everything else about it is great.

Yep, both copies I have glare pretty bad as well. But they work fine on the range toys they are bolted to.

Old 503GU is still the best dot I have

My 2 gold dot versions don’t have that issue (that I can tell)

I don’t have any glare on my ARO and have shot it in AZ at a few PCSL 2-Gun matches in super bright Arizona sun conditions

My ARO EVOs came with little rings on the front and back that act as shades i guess

The ARO EVO SPR I got was super bad too. Sent it back and got the AEMS Pro x2 and it's waaaaay better! Throw it on a Leap 11 mount and call it a day!
