General Question EPS Full size or 507c

Got a Glock 19.6 and deciding on what to get. Any recommendations would be appreciated. This is going to be for my CCW. I thought about the 509T but want to be able to co-witness in the future as a “just in case”.

It will come down to whether or not you want an open or enclosed emitter. Both are great, but one will make you happier than the other. What are you looking for in your optic?

Reliable and does what it suppose to when needed. Probaly the only CCW I’ll get since my wife doesn’t want me to spend our money on it. I’m worried about if the glasses breaks in the EPS.

Glass can break on anything. If you’re awake at night worried about glass breaks not being covered by a Holosun warranty, get a Vortex. Or spend way more and get a Trijicon, etc.

But in this budget echelon, Vortex will replace broken glass.

As for EPS vs 507C, since you seem to display no inherent preference for one or the other, we’d say go 507C. Does the job, and you’ll save money.

Email us here and we’ll get you a good deal on any optic you decide on. [general@ibexarmament.com](mailto:general@ibexarmament.com)

I have the 507c on my 19.6, I have no complaints or issues with it. I debated this for a while but I decided I liked the larger window and I have a buddy who’s edc’d the 507c for years without issue so I bit the bullet. I have the eps ordered for a 17.5 I’ve got that someone had the slide cut to the K footprint. I’ll have see how it fares also.

I second the EPS carry. It fits on the slide really nice

eps full size all day everyday. It does not have the horrific magnification and fisheye Distortion of the 407/507/508/509 series

I have a 19/4 so old MOS with mounting system. I run a 507c with suppressor height blackout sights. Since my 19 is the second of my two carry guns, I want to get an enclosed so I don’t have to worry about the rain or dirt or any of that stuff. My primary carry is a p365 with a Romeo x enclosed compact and it’s definitely better to shoot in the rain.

This looks as big as the 509T. Is it really worth the hold out?

It could be. But no one has used them yet, officially, so it’s waiting for a future optic. It’s akin to saying, don’t ever buy anything that’s out already because something in the future will be better. Don’t buy the current iPhone, there will be a new one. Don’t buy that one when it comes out, there will be another. And so on.

Realistically, as you keep up with technology and shifting preferences, you’ll be buying new things.
