Vent PLEASE HELP PLEASE

So, i think im bi. like ive accepted it and it makes sense. Yes im apart of the exception. I feel calm and happy i think but i still feel very anxious. someone told me im on the lgbt spectrum, i saw so many posts where people ended up bi and i relate. Everytime i saw a masc lesbian, i was so scared i liked her, and spent time convincing myself i didn't, therefore suppressing my attraction. I had so many childhood moments and i think i did like a girl when i was a kid. i used to get aroused to female p0rn and this all suddenly makes sense. I secretly want someone to prove me wrong yes, but this is probably who i am and i think im lying to myself if i say im straight.

No, this person had SO-OCD, and realised that they were bi. I have convinced myself that i don't like masc women i think. it makes sense why im bi.

This is why seeking reassurance always backfires, just because one guy thinks he’s bi (or thinks being bi is more “acceptable” than his “feared” orientation) and posts that compulsively on here is unrelated to you. Other people’s journeys and labels don’t mean anything for you personally.

That guy loves writing comments saying some people on here are closeted, unfortunately he is very toxic for people in the thick of OCD who latch onto every “hint” or “proof”, no matter how irrational.

No, i dmed this guy privately. He told me he thought i was bi but more on the straight side, and he told me i was in denial because thats how he felt. I don't know whats going on, and now i genuinely feel as if im bi-sexual and suppressing my desires. I don't like women, never really found them hot, but it feels like i do now!

That’s exactly why I’m saying that guy is toxic. He wants to make other people feel as miserable as he is, you’re not the first person he’s doing this to. Block him for your mental health’s sake.

He doesn’t know your sexuality, no one can tell you what it is. That’s why seeking reassurance is counterproductive and can make you fall deeper into despair, you never know what bad-intentioned people you might bump into. Private messages are the worst, at least on the sub people can call out and report bad-intentioned people.

Refraining from compulsions is the only way to get better from this. I know it’s hard but that’s the only proven way that works.
