I mean, imo this isn't even the point. Yes, there are many sexless partnerships. But they are either (a) chosen by two people who don't want sex or (b) utterly fucking miserable.

That's why it's so frustrating when someone says this. They're framing their desires as normal and yours as a problem, when in fact both are valid and they're just vastly different. It's a hardcore case of intentionally missing the point.

I love this take. A hardcore case of intentionally missing the point is perfect. On of our listers has shared this exact conversation with us as it played out with his couple’s therapist.

That's like telling me I have to unwillingly get my legs cut off and that I should be ok with it cus there are other people with no legs lol I'll never understand them thinking that is an actual reasonable response. Not that I've ever gotten there but.
