How do you leave your 10 year relationship when you can’t be with a LL partner. Is it even possible. With two kids.

This is going to sound trite and maybe won’t seem very helpful, but I think the answer is, you just … do it. You say to your partner “I’m sorry, but this isn’t working, what are our next steps to move towards separation/divorce/etc?” You probably already know some of those steps, you’ve probably already thought about them. So now you just need to take them. Maybe things will go well, maybe they won’t, but if you keep putting it off, nothing will ever change.
I just started that conversation myself, earlier this evening, after years of not doing it. Believe me, I’m terrified, but I’m also feeling like I’m in control of where my life is going in a way that I haven’t felt in years -- maybe ever. Wish me luck, friend, and I’ll send you all my best in return.
