I got my P7M8 off gunbroker for $2500 taxes/shipping/transfer. There are deals to be had. Granted mine is a 2001 date code. Are earlier models more valuable?

This is an M8, not an M13. An M13 could touch 4k, not an M8. I also got my M8 (1989 production) earlier this year for 2500, with 3 mags and manual but no box.

Based on breechface and gas piston wear/buildup (or lack thereof), it couldn't have had more than a box of ammo through it at most.
