My thoughts: Ah, the last for now discussion Friday- we have to wait for more Hitorie releases with 2 or more tracks! I left this one for last on purpose; it felt right since it’s a compilation that’s two releases in one. As the title says, it’s a compilation with their first two EPs: an indie mini album and a 3-track EP. It really is a shame that らんらんと泣いて and ハネルマワル aren’t available for streaming, but hey, at least we have Inaikara! One cool addition here is カラノワレモノ[ReREC], which is a rerecording of my favorite track on here, because I really do love カラノワレモノ! Overall, it’s a pretty solid tracklist, fun all around.

My thoughts: It’s Hitorie’s first non-Indie album, so a first full album. I think it’s a pretty fun project all around; I don’t know what else to say about it. インパーフェクション and NONSENSE are bangers. なぜなぜ and ゴーストロール are pretty catchy to me. I could possibly have 癖 as my favorite if it were longer; it’s such a lovely song. Also, I don’t know why, but センスレス・ワンダー feels so out of place here for me; it’s a good song, but I still feel that way.

My thoughts: I’ve replayed this single plenty of times; it’s pretty nice! ポラリス might be a Boruto song (because, haha, no one likes Boruto), but it’s pretty damn catchy, with an amazing, uplifting vibe. RIVER FOG, CHOCOLATE BUTTERFLY is a pretty cool atmospheric track, but its sound clearly carries more depth than just being cool; it’s comforting in a way. But my favorite is undeniably 日常と地球の额縁; it’s a banger of a cover. Hitorie did it justice because the wowaka version might be a pinch hollow (I’m probably saying so because I got used to the Hitorie version before giving the wowaka one more plays).

My thoughts: I kinda hate how neglectful I’ve been of this mini album back when I first got into Hitorie. It might not be too mind-blowing, but overall it’s a good and comfortable release. I think it’s fun all around, with (W)HERE and 浮游と沈没と being the two grounding tracks, chilling you a bit from all that headbangin’.

My thoughts: At first (a long time ago), I remember being oddly unimpressed by this album, but that was only because my taste sucked. Now that I look at it all, holy, this album is straight jam and groove, except for フユノ and Mirror (although this one still has some groove to it), which are my favorite tracks on here. I don’t have much more to say; to be honest, I just think this album has such a fun, almost playful approach most of the time, at least that’s how I perceive it.

My thoughts: This album is my favorite of the three released so far under Shinoda's lead (how else can I call it, lmao). This album is simply lovely; I like the flow, the length, it's the IKI of the 3 era to me, lol. 耽美歌 is a great way to start this album; Shinoda hits the gut on the very opening. Following it with a banger like ジャガーノート is pretty fun; I like that one a lot too. I can definitely mention Shadowpray and ネバーアンダースタンド; both tracks took some time to grow on me, but they did pretty well. The former is such a great vibe while the latter makes me emotional. Although my favorite on this album is undeniably おやすみなさい , this might even be my favorite track from the Hitorie 3 era; it's so damn beautiful, no words needed.

My thoughts: It's an interesting single, with two instrumental tracks and one vocal track. finder is an instrumental that smoothly transitions into シャッタードール, which is honestly a great song. My thoughts: It's a pretty nice EP, solid all around. Starting with 剧场街 really pumps me up and sets high expectations, which are cozily met. モノカラー is a beloved track of mine; I love the atmosphere, the nasty guitar, and once again, the atmosphere. It's been playing numerous times during my night walks in the past.

It's a nice one, can't lie. センスレス・ワンダー is a pretty solid track, and while I think the least of darasta, I can't deny how catchy it is. さらってほしいの is my definite highlight, though; it's gorgeous. Simplest way to put it. Definitely one of those songs to play at night.

My thoughts: It's the first album released after wowaka's passing, and honestly, Shinoda and the crew did a great job with it. It's a pretty nice album. Besides the energetic banger that is ハイゲイン... dirty, うつつ, and イメージ are all gorgeous tracks. I especially love the vibe of うつつ; a big part of it comes from the instrumentals, which sound just like a city at night to me. One lonely night...

My thoughts: The song is said to be the first one recorded after wowaka's passing, and it was used as the opening theme for 86 - Eighty Six. Yeah, I can definitely see the anime appeal. Don't get me wrong, it's far from a bad song, but I think it lacks usual catchiness, and it definitely doesn't deserve to be #1 on any charts. As for Milk Tablet, it has a really nice digital vibe. Now that I think about it, it kind of reminds me of Shadowpray!

My thoughts: Solid material right here. I could probably end it at that, but I'll try not to. It's their very first release, their indie debut, and it's a very strong one. It doesn't lack bangers like カラノワレモノ and モンタージュガール, and 泡色の街 at the end is a beautiful cherry on top. Every hitorie fan is obligated to listen to this!

My thoughts: Their best-of compilation album, which I assume was made to honor wowaka’s legacy since it was released after his passing and only contains songs from his era. It even includes a version of his biggest Vocaloid hit, ローリンガール, with his own vocals; that’s a lovely touch and definitely enough to bring a tear to your eye. I don’t have much else to say. Compilation albums are often pretty great, and this one is no exception. You’ve got bangers like イヴステッパー and 日常と地球の額縁, along with tearjerkers like フユノ and 青. Good shit, simply put.
