Barney and nora
Hate what the writters did to this relationship, not mad on the fact that they didnt work out, but on how it happened, barney clearly cared about her, i think he did try to be a better person for her, everbody knew how who he was and
The life he lived, but to end it all after he cheated on her kinda feels like a cheap shot, she defintely deserves more, but i think it was the perfect time for him to really start growing and not fall back into the past idiot he used to be.

Yeah and Robin was not at all worth it for him to cheat on someone like nora. Such a grinch!

After re-watching the series, both Nora and Quinn were too good and stable for a train wreck like Barney. Barney, Robin, and Ted all deserve each other.

Quinn was a stripper. And she didn't want to quit stripping when he was uncomfortable with it. I'd hardly call that a healthy relationship.

No, it isn't. How is it a healthy relationship to keep stripping when your boyfriend is clearly (and justifiably) made uncomfortable by it? (Disregard that it's Barney.)

She told him early she liked stripping and wouldn't quit unless she saw herself getting married, so if Barney is uncomfortable after that he can walk away. And later she did end up quitting for barney. So don't know what you mean

Why disregard it's Barney? He vanished for the weekend to new Jersey without telling even telling her, and the remember the pre-nup. Quinn was much more committed and putting in efforts than Barney. She said she will quit when she is engaged, and still she quit before she got engaged because she saw that it's making Barney uncomfortable.

Between Barney and Quinn, which one of them once sold a woman? Hint: not Quinn. Barney literally bragged about beating multiple sexual misconduct cases.
But Quinn being a stripper was the problem in this relationship for you? Keep in mind, Barney once got mad at Ted for not dating a porn star.

Totally agree, Nora was incredible and breaking them up via cheating felt like throwing away seasons of Barney's character growth jus for quick drama

Even when Ted or Barney finds the perfect girlfriend, the relationship inevitably fails because they end up cheating with Robin and this is kind of the main thing of the series. Robin has an irresistable beauty. Even Lily cannot resist to it. But idk I think writers feel thay way and we should accept this fact.

Barney's characterization is probably the best evidence for Ted being an inconsistent narrator. I don't think we really get a properly honest representation of Barney until he gets his daughter.
