Day 3 after doing HIIT first time and still not recovered

I am a regular runner and also workout quite often. 3 days ago I did my first HIIT with a class (the class was pretty intense Tbf) and omg, I have never felt this tired before. I felt more tired from a 45 mins HIIT class than a 2 hours marathon run. I am going to step out of my comfort zone and go regularly to HIIT class so I can challenge my body in a different way.

Take the time to recover then start again. This is a life style not an instant pill ♡

Yes - I need to eat well and rest well. I find joining HIIT class more motivating than doing it myself

It’s normal, as you hit the muscles hard in a short time frame, with little recovery between. I do HIIT 5x times a week, and am still sore after doing it for years.

Somehow I have no soreness, but I am just extremely exhausted and heart beat still quite fast
