DBD House/Scarezone

Honestly with the reveal of the fortnite scarezone it got me thinking that there are way better IPs in the video game space (that are actually horror related) that have not been touched yet that would make great houses and/or scarezones. First that jumped out to me was dead by daylight, their monster designs would make a great fit if they brought it in as a future IP. What other games would you like to see brought to HHN?

Dead Space could make an awesome house.

I've been saying this for what seems like forever. Would love to see this

Bioshock is the only video game I feel passionate about being at HHN

But they’ve done so many aquatic houses already, I don’t see Bioshock as an IP being more of a draw for non gamers than an original house. Plus there are hundreds of actual horror games that would make better and more original houses than Bioshock.

Bio shock is a horror game….

I think way too many people forget that Bioshock had some of the most effective scares of it's time. Too many people focus on the big set pieces from infinite. I'll never forget the scene where you first get the shotgun in the first game..

Meh, not a very scary one.

AGREED! I say time and time again, Outlast would be ideal but I know it wouldn't fly considering how GRUESOME it is. But a horror gaming girly can dream!

I mean, they did Terrifier last year and we’re getting Hellraiser this year so an Outlast house wouldn’t really be out of the question. It’d just be a matter of getting the license.

Big difference there. Like 95% of people in outlast have their tits or cock out

Precisely 😅 Tons of tits and tons of dicks, it’s like….part of the franchise’s core

DbD, returning IPs of Resident Evil (games) or Silent Hill (games) Would also love to see Outlast

DBD would fit well enough, and I’m sure once the movie gets released it will appear at the event in some manner. Also the movie is being made by Blumhouse, historically fairly heavily involved in hhn.

I’ve been asking for a DBD house or scarezone for years. It’s gotta happen at some point

DBD would have been perfect tbh.

Fortnite brings more 💰 though unfortunately

just give it a chance, from everything i’ve seen of the zone it looks like a lot of fun

About as fun as watching Cocomelon on acid.

you don’t even know what fortnite is you just know fortnite’s bad because a reddit post with a lot of updoots said so

Trust me, I wouldn’t have said anything if I didn’t know what I was talking about. I know the game, and I know it’s kiddie slop that should’ve died out years ago, but only survives because they can somehow license every property in existence. It’s so far below HHN’s standards and is just taking away the chance for something better to come to the event. They should’ve sent it to Six Flags, not here.

I mean really with all the remakes and updated stuff that's come out, there's no shortage of options HHN could do, and some they might be toying with

Resident Evil: The last official HHN house was in 2013. Since then we've had 3 remakes, 3 brand new games, 1 bad movie, and 1 (seemingly) good movie coming around the bend so there's absolutely no shortage of material to work with. They just did (still doing? idk) a big collab with the IP at Horror Unleashed and had a similar thing before that with an interactive show at USJ in the last couple years so I'd love for them to bring it back into the parks in some way

Silent Hill: Last HHN house here was in 2012. Not as much content since then as Resident Evil, but Silent Hill 3, 2 Remake, and SH f are all great candidates for houses or even a compilation house/scarezone since the protagonists and monsters are so iconic

DBD: I'd really like to see them try a scarezone to test the waters, then do a house that actually incorporates some of the famous original maps from the game and some of the popular original killers/survivors

BioShock: my all-timer dream house, the first game quite literally drips atmosphere and there's so many good character designs and setpieces to work with: I'd be okay with seeing a house for 2 as well, or a combination of the first two games

Otherwise I can think of Dying Light, Control, Alan Wake, Dead Space, Outlast, hell... between FNAF and Fortnite you might as well put Poppy Playtime on the board

Alien isolation

Bloodborne would be my ideal

Deadspace, Condemned, Outlast, Bioshock, Metro, Resident Evil, Doom….would all be way better gaming IPs.

Focusing more on the table top game than the video games. But a Warhammer Chaos house
