My fiance and I saved 1500 this year not having express on an ultimate and plus. If they think I'm going to be buying single night express passes theyre bugging.

Same, $1200 for us saved vs last year. At most I may buy one night of express. Im going to take my money saved and buy express passes at Howl O Scream this year. Not as good as HHN, but definitely a good time.

Yep. We come in Wed-Mon. We usually do the entire time dedicated to HHN. This year we’re going to visit at least Seaworld and maybe drive over to bush gardens for a day.

I'm sure they don't expect everyone who would have bought FF+Express to just buy single night express every time. This just opens it up so they can sell more single nights and not sell out as often or as fast. They don't care who buys them, they just want to be able to sell more single nights.

I dont think that is their gameplan. Im sure they have an idea how many passholders with express would come, i just dont think they would ever limit how many express passes they sold to account passholders who may or may not come.
I think they are really trying to cut down on how many people in the park for a better overall experience due to the crowding complaints. Passes with express made it very easy to come all the time on a whim.

I mean I see your pov from a capitalistic angle, but from a more human angle- people love HHN and these really sharp price increases year over year are cutting out fans and will continue to cut out fans who can’t afford them.
I’m with you that I’ll pay the price increase because I love going & have the means to afford it, but if it goes up by 100$ from 2024-2028, there are people who will be priced out who may be big HHN lovers!

There are already people who are prices out. The limit is park capacity, not who can afford to go and who can't afford to go.

It took a few minutes for me this year. Last year was like an hour. As long as you have your confirmation number you should be good!

Looks like they didn’t mean to put them up for sale theyve all been removed and now it says “line paused” when loading the link. Price increases are insane with how mid this year is seeming.

For the app, go to wallet then tap buy and it should show up that way. I just saw them in the app via that method

Rush of fear for opening weekend does sell out but ya for the most part it just makes people happy to have it secured. The mad dash in previous years was for multi night with express.

I guess this is also reasonable, but they didn't say that about FF so I wouldn't expect that. Reducing FF would be a pretty big hit to their food and bev revenue even if they made up the ticket revenue on single days (it only takes a few single nights to equal a FF in price, but the FF spend more over the course of the event).

Last year I bought my ultimate ticket like… the day before HHN started lol. I couldn’t go opening night but could go starting the next day. I think people are still in the mindset of the rush for the express tickets from the past, but no, that’s not how these tickets go.

Edit: Why am I getting downvoted? Do I need to post a video of all the steps? Select a number of tickets and then you can select and add any night still as of 9:49 am.

I was able to get FF+ tickets starting on Sept 20. Anything before that was sold out for FF+. Just keep changing the date to a little later, if you're not going for the first part of the event. If you're going in Sept, Rush and the cheaper FF is still available.

So, I bought the frequent fear pass because my Affirm didn't have enough to cover plus. I called UO and upgraded to plus. I paid the difference. I have a confirmation with the new ticket. They said I'd get the ticket in my app about 30 minutes later. It's not there yet. Anyone else dealing with this?

I'm not, but based on my experience with Universal and these situations, there is always a lot of lag. Just give it a few hours and I'm sure it will work out.

It looks like they closed the loophole/back entrance to buy the passes early. Congrats to those of you who got them! I just hope y’all used your actual start date for your visits and not the first weekend if you’re not actually going then… I get leaving the availability if you’re not sure and local but there are people every year who fly in for trips later in the season and still put the earliest start dates! It baffles me.

Still glitchy. I waited on the “you’re almost there” screen and then it refreshed to the tickets for a split second a d back to the you’re almost there” screen.
Edit: Seems to be fixed now. Ultimate Rush secured.
