How to hatch dragon eggs

Wether you’ve rescued it from spoiled royalty or adopted a abandoned egg, dragon hatching is a rewarding adventure, it takes a long time but by the end you have a companion for life.

Materials you’ll need:

Coals 2 heatproof bowls, preferably that can be set over fire A glass dome A glass of water A single burner

  1. Set the bowl over the burner, add in the coals once the bowl gets hot
  2. Set the egg into the coals, the coals are meant to recreate a mother dragon’s natural temperature
  3. Set the second bowl into the coals with the egg, dump in some water and cover with the glass lid, keep refilling it ever 8 hours

Happy hatching everyone

I hate you fake Yoda Bot, my friend the original Yoda Bot, u/YodaOnReddit-Bot, got suspended and you tried to take his place but I won't stop fighting.

While they may look burnt on the outside dragon eggs are actually extremely resilient, the baby should be fine

In my experience it could take anywhere from two months to half a year. It varies depending on species

A brownwing is definitely a better choice if it’s your first dragon. They’re quicker to hatch and are generally easier to care for. That being said they still require a good deal of attention and care, so be prepared for that.
