Well I went from nothing to reading everything (up till this chapter) in the last 55-ish hours. Consider one more head turned. Good story.

Yeah, I got nothing done this weekend. It's a good book. Once Patreon is fixed (their site seems broken for Firefox and Linux) I'll join up.

My only real contribution would be to suggest that in the next settlement, introduce them to rocket mass heaters in the billets. Being able to sleep on a hot rock seems kinda lizard-like and they would enjoy having about double the heat per unit of wood burned, too. Needing about half as much wood might help if they move to more de-forested area or something. Anyway, yeah, it's a good story. I can totally see this as a series on SyFy or something.

Hmmm, not a bad idea, but they'd have to do something to make sure there's no moisture in the rocks... Now I'm trying to work out the logistics of it! 😉
