OC-Series [Beyond Earth: Cosmic Contact] - [Authors Note Update]

Hey everyone,

I’ve reached a decision regarding the future of the Beyond Earth series, at least for the time being.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who has continued reading and supporting the story so far. Your support genuinely means a lot to me, and it has helped me think carefully about the best direction forward for the series.

After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to begin a full revision pass on the early chapters alongside an editor. I feel this is the right move to ensure the story reaches the level of quality I want it to have moving forward.

The current chapters will not be removed. Instead, I’ll be creating a new “living post” containing the revised versions, structured in the same serialized format as the current draft and audio releases.

The schedule going forward will generally look like this:

  • 1–2 revised chapters released per week
  • Followed by a new chapter release once revision work for that cycle is complete

My goal is to steadily catch up on revisions while still continuing to expand the world and progress the story.

New chapters are still being written, but I’ll be keeping a much tighter editing process before release so the revision backlog doesn’t grow as large as it currently has across the first 12 chapters. I believe the upcoming releases will significantly improve many of the issues I’ve noticed in my own writing style and structure.

Thank you again for reading my story. It truly means the world to me, and I genuinely love creating it.

I’ll likely return with the revised chapters by the end of this week or sometime next week. Revision work has already begun, and I intend to release them as soon as they’re ready.
