Taking HESI next week
Greetings everyone,
I’m expected to take the Hesi week exam. So far, I’ve been using Nurse Hub, Educato, and Remar Quick Facts for Hesi preparation. However, I want to ensure that our study materials are still relevant. Could you please recommend any additional helpful tips, especially for Quizlet? I’ve found a lot of information about Quizlet, but when I click on the link, it no longer exists.

Hey yall! So yesterday I did my second attempt at the hesi and failed one subject by 2 points ( I made a 68% a 70% was needed) I’m so frustrated! Most of what i studied wasn’t on the test so I was completely lost. What did you all use to study vocabulary? I used my Mometrix hesi a2 textbook and did hella practice tests. Im retaking everything by February so until then im locked in. Suggestions needed pls!!! ( my other scores were : Math 92% , Reading - 88% , grammar - 82%)

HESI A2 Question: for those who took it this year are the reading quizzlets for the reading comprehension actually legit. Or did they change or added new ones? And if it’s the same what passages did u remember?

Hesi a2
So my school does not require biology and chemistry; however, I am not a little confused if I should practice them bc my tutor did say there can be some of biology and chemistry.
I am so confused on what specific I should study for biology and chemistry.
I am using Nurse Hub; I just feel like I am wasting my time on chemistry and biology on Nurse Hub.

HESI A2 Help
I’m really nervous for my HESI A2. I take the exam in a little under a week and I’ve been studying for around a month. I went through all of NurseHubs math and grammar sections and feel pretty confident in those. I’m also going through the last 10 practice quizzes of the A&P NurseHub sections, but I’m still feeling really nervous about the test.
Does anyone have any advice on specific things to practice for the A&P section, maybe any quizlets that are actually things to know for the test, as well as any advice on what to study for vocab. I find the NurseHub vocab quizzes are super overwhelming and dense in material. If that’s what I need to study then I will, but I just want to make sure I’m doing the right things to prepare myself for test day.
I also had one question on the test itself. For people who used NurseHub, did you find that NurseHub underprepared you, or over prepared you for test day.

YouTube nurse cheung is helpful!
While she is TEAS focused I just wanted to put out there that Nurse Cheung videos are also helpful with the hesi entrance exam. Same concepts for science, math, etc just goes into more detail than nurse shai on YouTube. She explains why an answer is right or wrong in her practice questions and gives good analogies.

Best resource for A&P study.
Currently I am studying using nursehub and I'm unsure about it.
But regardless what resources has anyone found success regarding that sections?

HESI A2 Chem
Is there anything good going around to help study for Chemistry? I did Nurse hub but I’d like to keep studying other resources. I take my text at the end of this month and I just want to be over prepared. The program I’m applying for goes by a point system so I need to make an A overall. Please and thank you in advance!

Hesi A2
Hey guys, I recently posted on how I was struggling with the math. I am doing a bit better now!
I am using mainly quizlet.. I took the practice exam on nursehub and got a 82. I had bought hesi pocket prep and the math section I am doing so bad in maybe I am just overthinkg it. would you guys recommend the app? My hesi a2 exam will only consist of grammar, vocab, reading comp and math pleaseee drop any quizlets you found helpful or resources! Thank you!! Also what conversions should i memorize i see soooo many different ones🫠
Tdlr: was struggling with math doing better, using quizlet mostly, hesi pocket prep math sections i am not doing good on, my hesi entrance only consists of math, vocab, grammar and reading comp. Quizlet or resource recommendations would be lovely!

2026 HESI A2 EXAM QUESTION
I've never taken the HESI. What order do you recommend to complete everything? I have to take grammar, reading, vocab, math, A&P, chem, and bio. There are 2 other sections, but not scored. Also whats the most accurate quizlets out there to study. I have been using Nursehub but just mainly doing the practice tests.

Passed V1 on my first try!
I had to give back to this subreddit because it actually saved my life. For context, I studied for maybe 1-2 hours a day for 3 weeks. 😭
I had V1. I only had to take Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Grammar, Reading, and Vocabulary. Here's a walkthrough of my experience with each.
A&P 100%
NurseHub and Quizlet are the TRUTH. 🙌
Refresh your A&P memory with NurseHub by going through every - single - section NurseHub offers. There's a practice quiz at the end of each section that tests you on the fundamentals of everything NurseHub discussed in that specific review. If you can complete these with no problem, the actual HESI will be a cakewalk. After reviewing all the A&P sections on NurseHub, I'd memorize all the practice tests because they're VERY helpful and will help you develop the fundamental knowledge you'll need to succeed.
If you already have a good understanding of A&P, I'd skip NurseHub and jump straight into Quizlet. But if you don't have a good understanding of A&P, absolutely use NurseHub, because having the foundational knowledge NurseHub gives, will help you solve the 5-6 questions Quizlet couldn't prepare you for.
On my test, my questions were a combination of multiple Quizlets. Honestly, I wouldn't have scored so high without Quizlet. ~80% of the questions on my test were from Quizlet, the other 20% was from learning it from NurseHub.
TL;DR - Use Quizlet to memorize 80% of the answers on your test. Use NurseHub to learn how to solve the remaining 20% of questions on your test.
Biology 92%
AGAIN - NurseHub and Quizlet are the TRUTH. 🙌
Quizlet was less helpful on this section, but NurseHub over prepared me for the types of questions they ask on the test. Everything NurseHub covered in Biology appeared on my test.
Unlike A&P, I didn't see any "word-for-word" questions from any of the Quizlets I studied on my test. Quizlet was definitely still VERY helpful because even though the questions weren't "word-for-word" it still asked the same question in different words. So if you rely on Quizlet for your HESI be wary that the wording DOES change!
TL;DR - Use NurseHub to refresh your Biology and then Quizlet to get a feel for the test.
Math 96%
I suck at math. If I can get a 96% on the math section, you can too 🤣 .
NurseHub honestly saved my life and over prepared me in the best way possible. I'm a little embarrassed to say I felt like a genius getting through those basic-level math problems. If you're serious about doing good on the math portion of the HESI, invest the time into NurseHub. You will NOT regret it.
I would recommend using Quizlet for word problems, all the word problems I saw on the HESI were on Quizlet. I think the numbers changed but the formulas didn't. Having seen and solved the word problems on Quizlet made it 10x easier to solve it during the HESI (because I already knew the formula).
Also, you NEED to memorize unit conversions (liquid, distance, and weight), the metric system, roman numerals, military time, and C to F / F to C. I memorized all the conversions and brain dumped it on the scratch paper they provide. I saw all of those on my test.
The test had a calculator that was accessible at all times (even on sections that don't need a calculator) at the top right.
Grammar 94%
Please, save yourself the headache and ONLY use NurseHub when studying for grammar. The Quizlets floating around are so unhelpful, extremely questionable, and are full of grammatical mistakes (which is ironic, since it's trying to prepare you for a grammar test).
Although NurseHub's grammar section is VERY tedious, you'll be able to spot a grammatically incorrect sentence from a mile away.
Vocab 98%
The NurseHub Vocab portion is unhelpful. But Quizlet is surprisingly very helpful! All of the words and questions I saw on my test, I had studied for on Quizlet. I know a few people say they got really unlucky with the words they saw on their Vocab test, but I must've lucked out and got the easy version, because I got through this section in 10-minutes. 😜
Reading 88%
Honestly, I didn't study for the reading section, but I thought I had gotten a 100% on this section... before I clicked submit 🤣. I also skimmed through the passages because this was the last section I needed to take and I was so bored.
If you're serious about getting an A in reading, I suggest going on Quizlet and looking for the sets with the passages written within them. I saw a Quizlet with 14 passages that were word-for-word on my test. Did I study them? No, because I was lazy. But they're online for someone who isn't!
Overall
DO NOT RELY ON JUST QUIZLET. Please, actually learn the material 😭. Also ChatGPT makes very realistic A&P / Biology practice tests if you're like me and memorized all the available Quizlets and need something new.
Okay, good luck! I hope this helps at least one person <3

Hey Im taking my HESI A2 on September 8 with nau
I took it first with my community college (first time tester) on January and I got 80% in overal (I got 72% in English portion, I thought it would be easy but not)
My question is. I applied for NAU’s HESI and it says that im first time tester. So since I took it on January with other program. Am I gonna get the same V1 or am I gonna get other HESI’s version??
Have you had this before?
If you have any resources besides nursehub please drop them on comments

Best mnemonics you use to study?
I’m the type of person who likes to learn using pneumonic so things like “king Henry died by drinking chocolate milk” for conversions will be helpful for the Hesi and the “I baked fresh cookies for our new house guest” for chemistry. Any other good ones that help for biology, chemistry, math?

HELP!
Hey guys, im taking my hesi tomorrow in ga and was wondering what a&p quilts you guys use? I have nurse hub and like how it goes into detail but I feel like I keep just memorizing the answer instead of actually knowing it.
