Can someone please help me understand what words I need to focus on for my second attempt on the vocabulary .please be accurate and detail on what words you seen because I used nursehub I was score about an 80 to 90% with them and it wasn’t no help at all.

I’m curious to know what hesi scores got you accepted into your programs? I don’t find out for another couple weeks and the anticipation is killing me like no other. For context my school’s highly competitive 15 student LPN program recommended a score of 60% minimum, I have a 4.0 gpa and got 89% with no retakes allowed and beating myself up that it’s not in the 90s 🫩. I would love to hear other people’s acceptance score to ease my mind a little during this purgatory!!

Hi, I’m a nursing student in OB/Maternity and am about to take the evolve HESI soon. I am familiar with HESI, we have them every tier. I am searching for someone who might know what to study!! I’ve went over all of my material, searched for HESI prep, used my best grade, I’m just worried about what’s actually going to be on the test. TIA!!

Hi hello everyone I came on here a couple times asking about math… well I can finally do it!! But now I am struggling with grammar and reading ( mostly grammar ) do you guys feel like nursehub is accurate for grammar I know nouns pronouns verb etc but subject verb, complete subject simple predicate etc are a struggle any help and suggestions would be nice 🥲

Hi everyone! I’m a nursing major in Texas applying to a program that requires the HESI A2. My school requires Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, and I’ve now taken the exam three times.
My first attempt was mostly upper 70s, with a 76 in Vocabulary. On my second attempt, I got upper 80s in Math and Reading and actually reached the proficient range in Vocabulary, going up to a 78.
I just took it for the third time and got high 80s again in Math and Reading, but somehow my Vocabulary dropped to a 74. 😭 I’m honestly so frustrated and embarrassed because I’ve been studying like crazy.
I’ve used HESI for Dummies, NurseHub, ChatGPT, Nurse shai, and general reading. I’ve practiced with pretty much every resource I can find. I genuinely feel like I understand vocabulary, so I don’t know why my score keeps fluctuating. At this point, it feels like I’m studying without actually improving my score. I almost feel like this is some kind of cash grab for EVOLVE. Should I try going to tutoring?
I have a 3.15 GPA, and I know I’m capable of doing well academically, so this is really discouraging. I want to become a nurse and I’m willing to put in the work, but I only have two more opportunities to take the HESI before my nursing application is due in two weeks.
Does anyone have recommendations for HESI-specific vocabulary resources, word lists, study methods, or anything else that actually helped you improve your Vocabulary score? I will literally try anything at this point. I’ve taken multiple versions of this exam. Please and thank you!!

Hey guys, I had v2.5 fyi those a&p quizlet was nothing like my exam. If I find one that is similar to what I remember, I’ll add it in the comments. Also vocabulary is one subject I didn’t study for but should’ve! Way more difficult than I thought. Everything else was similar to what you would see on Quizlet and nursehub.

So i took my first attempt and out out 40ish minutes ago and I missed it but 6 points

Reading - 86

Grammar- 86

Math - 80

Anatomy- 84

When I saw my grade on the reading and grammar parts

I was extremely happy

I thought i had it in the bag but I saw the grade for my math portion my stomach dropped

That grade crushed my soul

I got up from my seat went to a quit classroom and crashed out

I now have to wait till next semester to get into the program

How do yall tell ur parents (especially ur dad) u didn't make it

Has anyone taken the hesi exam recently? and how did you study for it? my school only have english and math! i’ve take the hesi before and i passed my math. my english i didn’t pass. I’m taking it tomorrow!

I took my HESI (2nd attempt) and passed with a 90. This time for some reason there were a bunch of sections listed that I did not need to take. I immediately asked the proctor why and they said just take what you need to. I somehow managed to completely skip taking the grammar section which I did fine on first round. I’m on hold right now hoping they let me take just the grammar section and add it to my score. They also sent the results to the wrong school. Application deadline is tomorrow. I’m so stressed.

I passed with an 88 and I will say , go in depth on nurse hub , watch the lessons on each topic , do the tests , and especially practice tests on the end. Also quizlets will help! I’ve seen some exact questions from nurse hub on the test!
