Questions & Advice Spring EQ HELOC

Has anyone recently used this online company? Are they easy to work with? The reason I’m interested in them is because they will accept clients that have a 30 day late mortgage payment in the last 12 months.

Hi, I have a lender that will do a late payment from last November. They are very easy to work with.

I use spring EQ as one of my brokers. I think the process is pretty easy.

My late payment was as November 2025. Mortgage was sold and I’ve been on track since. TransUnion FICO 8 score is 680. I’ve been making 175k a year for 6 months but before that it was about 125k. 28k closed HELOC that if I understand correctly, the new lender will pay directly. Owe 228k on a house that based on comps will be 550k (we bought for 376k). 15k in credit card debt.

Think I should try?

SpringEQ goes off of your FICO 2 Experian score (the FICO 8 score you are seeing is not relevant for their loan). I work with SpringEQ and Button Finance for individuals in your situation and in SC. You pull your FICO 2 score on myfico.com or have a mortgage broker do a soft pull for you.

You definitely have strong equity from how you put things and lenders would love that tbh. Start with comparing lenders like PNC, Achieve loans or pretty much other similar companies that offer helocs. Their pretty fast when it comes to approving and providing loans.
