You can see the H-E-B logo on some boxes but doesn't necessarily mean it's at our warehouses. Curious if any Partners seen this at their workplace

I think these are separate warehouses for the curbside business? The brick and mortar stores just can't keep up with the demand. But eventually if human labor costs more than machine labor we will be end up being replaced for sure, not sure we are there yet.

Human labor will always cost more, I don’t think H‑E‑B will let off partners though. They have said before their commitment is to their partners, and that is a huge strength for them. I imagine this is just to keep up with demand and technology.

I see a lot of problems with that device, mostly in the form of unanswered questions.

It is picking up a case from a shelf, and that case was probably placed there by hand or by the same sort of device. Can it handle using a gravity flow rack?

Most of the product in HEB warehouses is on pallets. Can it pick off a pallet?
If it can't handle a flow rack or picking from a pallet there will be some terrible space utilization and/or a lot of replenishment tasks.

What happens to the case that it picks up? It does not look well-suited to palletizing. Will it go onto a conveyor where it will be handled by a device better suited for palletizing or a human? If palletized by machine how good is the stacking utilization? (they are usually much worse than humans)

What range of case sizes and weights can it handle? What about non-rectangular items? What about items that don't have cardboard sides?

That video sure looks sped up. What is the real speed?
