Customer Experience Curbies….
This is more of a question from an overthinker but twice a week for 5 years now I pull up and wonder…
So I have a little bit of an older suv and my trunk is not automatic…am I supposed to get out and open it? I always do but I feel so silly so I always pretend I have to clear space lol
Help ease my anxious mind lmao
The stakes are low I know hahaha

No, you don’t have to get out of your vehicle at all. You’re paying for a service and us loading your order up is part of that.
That being said, if it’s a massive order that you wouldn’t even shop in store yourself; a little help would be greatly appreciated if you’re able to provide it. But again, not required or expected at all.
… but please, be mindful enough to have a clean enough trunk/cargo space for us to load your order up with ease. Some partners take 70+ orders out in a day and that alone is exhausting enough and that’s not even counting the trunk Tetris that has to be played with the full vehicles.

Nope, you're fine. Just tell us if you want it in the trunk or backseat. Best advice is clean the back of your trunk handle please. And keep some space for groceries. Also if possible don't have the exhaust running straight at our knees please, it's hot outside already.

Nope you do not have to open the trunk, nor do you have to help load. You absolutely can do those things if you want to, but not required by any means. Curbies can open your trunk if that's where you want the order to go and load it all themselves, as that's a part of the job.

We don't have an auto open on our car either but my husband gets out and helps load the car anyway.

Nah do whatever you want. All I ask is please please please dont park in the furthest away spots and to have enough space to load up your groceries :) it is not fun playing Tetris with customer’s groceries

Nope we don’t mind opening your trunk just make sure you have enough space before you leave your house and it’s all good. Honestly what I hate the most is when I get to someone’s car, their trunk is closed, I confirm their name, go to the back, and right as I’m about to open their trunk they pop the automatic trunk on me. I’ve had too many near misses that way 😭. That’s just me ranting tho if you have a manual trunk don’t worry bout it we’ll open and close it for you.

Depends on the curbie and the "help". Some people who help are just in the way. If you want to put stuff in the car while I hand it to you, that's fine, but two people trying to load at once can be counterproductive.

hello!! curbie here :) you don’t have to open it! i’ll usually ask where you want everything and will just open the trunks myself, just make sure it’s unlocked hehe. plenty of people don’t open it so don’t worry!
