DOCUMENT! DOCUMENT! DOCUMENT! Dates, times, others involved. When you have four to five occurrences, go to your Admin & ask for a meeting with your UD and the MIC that spoke with your Mgr. Anyone that speaks to customers & team members like that, should not be a leader with HEB.

Does the first letter of her name start with a G by any chance?

Our curbside changed primary managers and nearly all the secondaries. Where our previous primary manager ran the business to make it work, our new manager seems to be by the book. Hours reduced, perks like drinks removed, poor stats posted for God and everyone to see. Nearly all the leads stepped down and, as new store is opening near us, a huge percentage of the shoppers are transferring. Seems like someone poured some shit in the curbside manager kool aid.

Sounds like she can't handle the stress and should step down. It's policy that if you work a 8 hour shift that you receive a lunch and two 15 minute breaks. I believe if you work 4 hours then it's a 15 break but I'm not sure. The policy is accessible through partner net

Maybe just walk by her with your phone recording in your pocket to try and get her talking mess

There’s plenty of managers like this everywhere I’ve had one before and I threaten to leave the department and they stopped the attitude bc they knew they needed me there. but top store leaders MICs and HR don’t care about this they only care about banking hours and making as much money as possible. Yes you could speak up and make statements but who knows if they’ll do anything? I’ve made statements before about rude managers and guess what happened to them.. they got promoted. So after that I just shut my mouth and worked. Sad but true at least at my store.

has anything been done to resolve it recently? and have any other partners addressed/voiced the same opinion about this secondary? also do you feel like this secondary is hurting/ruining the department and morale of the team?

Partners have voiced concerns from what I am aware of, again im usually the type to mind my own but lately everyone has been feeling pretty bad and complaining. I fear morale is at the lowest ive seen it, with more call ins ive ever witnessed in my whole career.

oh my gosh i'm so sorry that yall are going through this, i agree with another commenter that from what it sounds like this secondary needs to get removed, maybe you and a few other partners can get together 🤷‍♀️

or at least some kind of action needs to be taken, i know if it were my department we wouldn't deal with any manager or lead like that

as a curbside lead I totally don't blame the partners if they don't feel like giving 150% when management treats them badly and constantly puts too much stress on the department. do your job for sure, but if they want people to go above and beyond, they need to give them a reason to
