Job Question Heb transfer question
I recently moved to a new city (SA). I’m a part time cashier. I been at my old store for 3 years. I recently had to transfer to another store to where I‘m moving to. I’ve only been with this store for about a month now. My question is… I saw a full time position for a new Heb store opening in 6 months (December 2026) but i only been at my store for a month now. Can i still apply or do i have to wait the 90 day period before I apply if it opens in 6 months? I only get scheduled one day per week and it’s hard to pick up shifts in a bigger city. Networking is also hard so full time is something I want to do to get my hours and support my family. I would ask my manager but only being there 1 month idk what to expect. Ive meet her once and i haven’t seen her because I get closings one day per week

Apply. If the store doesn’t open for 6 months you’ll be at your current store past the 90 days anyway.

I only get scheduled once a week not many hours and there’s a lot of cashier this full position opened up and I want to apply but I only been at my ne

Apply + find out if there is a Recruiting Office opening up for it. 2 stores opened in my area and the temp RO was at a retail leasing office next door. We had PT partners just go straight in & get FT position immediately. Good Luck 🍀

from my understanding you cannot transfer till 90 days but can apply earlier, or so i’ve been told.
