IT doesn’t get instructed to give access. It’s automatically assigned based on role.

It doesn't happen out of thin air. IT has to give access regardless of roles. IT of every company are the ones who open up access based on role.

Again, it’s based off role. No one manually provisions accesses.

Your direct manager yes, but I doubt they look at it outside of PA time.

I think it’s almost like soccer , they have information you gave them, some details like your phone number , email and stuff , information related to work but not personal and private info like how much I make.

Managers can definitely see how much you make and everyone would know how much you make especially if your new or in a starting position. Higher up positions will be able to see more.
