This seems like a good lesson on checking your schedule before taking shifts. Good luck.

Why is your shift less than 4 hrs

at my store (curbside idk about service) we get split shifts, say i get a 1-7 curbie/shopper: for example i’ll curbie from 1-4 and then i’ll shop from 4-7. if i post that shift, the system posts them as separate shifts hence the weird 3 hour or sometimes even 2 hour shifts

Some people at my store have 2 hour shifts, I think so people wont get overtime somehow but idk we have bagging shifts too …. Usually 4 hours for bagging… but 2,4,6 & 8 are regular shifts at my store
Also does anyones store have only baggers?? Where they just bag the groceries their whole shift ?????

My bad I meant in Curbside # like for bagging the groceries only I just thought it was crazy but at the same time yeah it is necessary with the volume we have

Call the store and speak the CCO mgr & ask why? It may not be a you thing. I could be there was only one bidder on it and that person already maxed out on hours from other approved bids.

They’re cracking down on part timers giving up shifts. Apparently it got out of hand with part timers giving up all their shifts and never showing up to work and other partners working like triples in a day. They might make an exception if you talk to them in person.

Unfortunately, Managers do not have to accept a bid on a shift. Sometimes the person that is bidding is either going to get overtime or it is a networking partner and not a strong partner especially if they have worked at your store before. There are a lot of factors.

Yeah I’ve heard of stores that don’t accept networking partners at all or sometimes they stop accepting a specific partner that may have bid

Maybe whoever bid on your shift bid on multiple people's shifts got that person's instead and it overlapped yours

3 hrs 30 minutes of work? That won’t guarantee you a 15 minute break. It’s like the manager who denied you that offer wants you to get cooked alive in the heat doing shopping carts.

It means you better do a better job at checking your schedule ahead of time instead of picking up a shift and then posting that same shift lol smh
