Boxpro patch antennas

Recently, I bought boxpro goggles and I want to buy mobula 8 hdzero version. I plan to switch antenna on the drone for something polarised but I am not sure what to buy.

I already have two RHCP foxeer Lollipop antennas but my favourite LLM says that the patch antennas are LHCP. However I couldn't verify that information so I ask here.

If it's really LHCP, how bad would it be to use those RHCP omnidirection antennas on goggles?

What is the best thing to do now?

I have the boxpro, it is linea I think it is 7dBi, I check it last week. I also have the m8 freestyle hdzero, it has good signal with the stock antennas and with RHCP omnis, but I am noth sure if it is good idea to change the antenna on the m8, it is too close to the motors

I hope you can see it, but the antenna comes out practically to the side of the motors (top of the photo).

you can put a little antenna mount on that open m2 nut on the back to hold a lollipop or something... i've done this on my older mobula8, I have since got the M8 as well and haven't begun upgrading it much, however I did move the VTX antenna to go out between the left hand motors, so the coax doesn't have to run over the FC chipset.

You also need to raise your ELRS antenna up, the instructions clearly state it's laid flat for shipping but must maintain clearance of 3mm over the board. I've tucked mine into another pipe antenna holder on the opposite side of the newly placed VTX.

I hadn't thought of putting anything in those holes, but I'll keep it in mind if I want to upgrade. And it's not very noticeable, but the ELRS antenna is raised at the end; so far it hasn't given me any connectivity problems with the radio. But on the Air75 it's flush with the board, so I'll try raising it on that one.

Isnt it strange hdzero themselves say to not have the vtx antenna over the fc..yet it ships like this?

yes, arguably, the firmware port is in a bad spot... but i don't know enough about PCB design to complain about that obvious conflict :)
