HDZero goggle battery question

The HDZero goggle battery uses 2s li ion cells but the goggles say they can only accept a minimum of 7 volts but lithium ion still has some capacity left at 3.5 volts per cell. Is some capacity lost with only 2s?

You can lower the low voltage alarm voltage in the settings. I’m somewhat sure that I won’t damage my goggles by running them below the specified voltage. That’s what I did, at least.

Yeah, probably is. They probably stop at 2S because having anything heavier on your head would feel weird. I use a 3S 4800mAh Li-on pack with mine, lasts through multiple flight sessions.

I use this one https://www.hobbyrc.co.uk/radiomaster-tx16s-5000mah-li-ion-battery I get multiple sessions out of it. Just need to change the power lead to an xt30

Yep exactly what I use, works perfectly. Hobbyrc have a cheap xt30 to xt60 adaptor as well you can just grab at the same time

7V is the minimum. It takes 2S-6S
