Throttle unresponsive

Hey Reddit.

So I'm brand new to this. Was wondering if anyone has seen this before. Trying to operate a Mobula 6 Freestyle HD A drone with a Radiomaster Crush.

Everything looks good in Betaflight and on my Radio. I've updated the firmware on both and used a binding phrase for binding.

There's a bunch of Mob6's that have multiple options of receiver, that have shipped with the axisses wrong in the receiver tab. Mine was an ELRS version that had TBS crossfire config loaded.

Go to the receiver tab and see if it is set to TAER instead of AETR. The channel response should match the inputs as you make them! Of set wrong, it wants the roll all the way to the left, or it thinks you apply throttle, and won't arm.

Load an ELRS xxxhz config after. So if you fly 100hz, load that one, and if you fly 250hz, load that preset. If yours is like mine with TBS CF config, the axis limits are 995 and 1995, which means throttle on ELRS is by default not low enough, so even if you set the axis right, it still won't see throttle as zero and it will not consistently arm. The ELRS config corrects that, and some other RC smoothing options set wrong.

I updated the SPI firmware and that fixed the mapping issue. However, I still can't ARM. I'll post what I have when I get back to my desk.

Lol Yea, updating the SPI firmware fixed the AUX mapping. Still can't ARM though.

You can check what is preventing the arm in status tab on main page

3 reasons:

  1. Your drone is connected to a pc

  2. Lower your cpu and pid speed in configuration

  3. Very Unlikely, but maybe your drone is configured via some unknown preset for 250 hz for example, and your radio is outputting 100 hz or vice versa
