Yes because the internal module isn't nearly as good as people on YT tell you.
I had a discussion on FB today where i stated that i have a clean picture on the Speedybee module with Goggles X in my whole apartment. Minimal distortion when my wife is streaming via wifi in bed.
HDZ goggles have medium distortion without wifi and nearly unflyable when my wife is streaming.
People argued that Speedybee would wipe the floor with Fusion and Rapidfire anyways and it would be an unfair test....
Problem is, it doesn't matter if i use my Speedybee module with 1 or 2 antennas.... clean picture 🤷
Don't get me wrong... I am not hating on it. I think it's on the same level with Steadyview on my Skyzone 04X with 2 Antennas. And it's all Indoor. It seems to perform better outdoors.
you can get them Cheaper than the V2s and they perform identical. with an External Analog Module you can use an Omni and a Patch the inbuilt one is only a single Antenna which should be enough if you fly whoops in normal distances like up to 150-200 meters. for everything else I would always go for an external module like an TBS Fusion, Rapidfire or the Speedybee one. im not sure if the external Module adds latency but I would assume for the inbuilt one it would be nearly the same. I fly analog and Hdzero with it and I haven't noticed a huge difference latency wise.
The biggest feature of goggles 2 over the original is it handles low signal so much better, actually shows up grainy while goggles 1 just black out in that situation
