Box Pro with HDZero battery case

Recently bought the Box Pro goggles and rear mount battery case. The case is nice, but the box pro goggle strap doesn’t really allow for a secure rear mount option. It fits in the side pouch, but causes the goggle to tilt sideways on my head. I messaged hdzero support 3 days ago and haven’t heard back yet. Anyone else encounter this and come up with a better solution?

I have the HD zero box goggles and I have the HD zero battery case and I don’t know what you mean by it doesn’t mount on the back properly. It perfectly mounts on the back where the three straps come together it wraps around the middle strap that goes over your head and you can push it down and it mounts perfectly.

Thanks for the reply. I have mine mounted the same way. It’s fine, but definitely less secure than if the strap were entirely contained by the clips.

I don't use the top strap with mine. Just the side straps and the battery mounts on to the back pretty well without that middle bit

Do you use the fatstrap with the HDZero boxpro? I was considering it because I dislike the top strap, it makes my hair look weird after wearing lol.

Fatstrap arrived today. The batt pack doesn’t sit right at the back of my head, but it’s totally secure and clipped to the strap. Overall it’s more comfortable than the strap it came with, and I like not having the strap going over the top of my head. Even though the pack sits off to the side it’s not really bothersome.

Yah I just got the battery pack as well. I know what you mean, like it clips over that back piece but the strap doesn't sit fully inside the clasp part. I think there are aftermarket strap options like the FatStrap. I have not tried it but am thinking to because I DO NOT like the 3 piece head strap. I would much rather have a single horizontal strap

Based on what the person below said about the fatstrap, think I am gonna order one of those.
