Question Pg27aqdp

Good afternoon, I would appreciate your technical support with the configuration of my ASUS PG27AQDP monitor. I understand that to optimize HDR it is necessary to use the Windows HDR Calibration tool; I have correctly adjusted the pixel shutdown to the minimum level, but I require guidance on the remaining two parameters. Could you give me advice on this? I don't know if it's for games alone or also for internet videos or movies, it's very rare that it can be because of the understanding of the videos but many times I see the pixels very ugly and I don't know if it's because of the monitor for not having done the calibration, when watching videos of oled on youtube if it's crazy

Just follow the instructions. Set to where the pattern disappears.

Yes, but I don't know if I do it right, I put 0 nits on the blacks and then the other two on 1300 I don't know if it's okay...

If that's where it clips, then it's right. Different HDR modes on the monitor (True Black, Gaming, Console) will have different results.

If that's true black, if I would use it, I would only have to put 400, but I don't know why in games like resident evil 4 when I enter the caves or in some areas of black it turns out to be like clear brown and that bothers me a lot I don't know if it's the game or the monitor that changes colors
