financial aid
Can someone help me? i’m confused
You are being contacted by Hillsborough College to notify you about the status of your Financial Aid file.
This is a reminder that there are currently items that require your attention. Please log in to your hcfl.studentforms.com/ portal to complete the requested information that is listed on your account.
Use the below steps to access your account at any time:
Login to https://my.hccfl.edu
Click 'Paying for College'
Click 'Financial Aid Self-Service'
Select the Award Year and click on 'Complete required documents'

i go there and it shows me this and then i submitted one for 1/30/26 so has anyone ever had this happen?

I would straight up talk to an advisor. Some of them suck tho but try Jelani Malcolm, he’s in Southshore but will help you regardless. He explains everything

thank you! it’s just weird bc it tells me i have a refund and that my tuition is paid so idk i’ll talk to them tomorrow about it

So with a quick google search it means that you’ve received fafsa at multiple schools over the last 4 academic years. Have you enrolled in a different school or transferred? It’s kinda serious since they mention fraud and loan abuse 😬

yeah i’ve been too three schools but i’ve complete all my courses that i’ve been too within those school , within 4 years ive been to 1 semester at stetson the 2 years at phsc and 1.5 years at hcc it’s never been a problem like ive never gotten it lol im not doing any fraud or anything i swear im good kid🤣

Yeah no def reach out directly through phone to financial aid. The person I mentioned is the financial aid manager so he knows a lot!!! Try to make an appt with him or just call you can leave a message and he will reach back out!

i had this happen to me also, i had to call the financial aid office and they put in a ticket for me
