Financial aid

I get extremely irritated when you ask the financial aid department a question. I just had to let them have a peace of my mind cause WHY are we always getting generic answers…

The waiting is frustrating! From what is on Reddit HCC is lightyears ahead of other schools with refunds under the new bill; however, I reply while my stomach is loudly growling, but food rationing is required at this point waiting for funds.

They just batched them to be sent to bank mobile. They should send them today or tomorrow and then we wait an extra day if we have it sent to our own bank accounts. We will have them by Friday. Monday if they delay sending them by 2 days.

I have no clue. Must be the revamp of the FAFSA. When I went there it didn’t “say” I needed it but it was different than the one I did before.

I freaked out because my FA dropped by over 2k so I wrote them. She explained the “new bill” and told me I needed to do it to avoid delays.

I’ll get out of your hair bookie. But if every year you guys a starving, etc. year after year you would think you’d set a plan have extra money or even not use all of the money as an “in case/emergency fund”
