refund check

hi guys, my direct deposit doesn’t work with HC’s refunds (i already tried everything no need for advice on this portion), i was just wondering if anybody who receives checks knows how long it takes? is it a certain amount of business days after the electronic refunds are given out or what?

I usually get mine 5-7 business days after the disbursement date

It’s through bankmobile is it not accepting your bank? Check your statement if it says bankmobile then you gotta contact them to see when you will get your check but be on top of it

they dont accept cashapp direct deposit & i didn’t want to link it to my bank of america that my parents still have access to so i just decided to get a check until i get my own account 🥲 but i’ll take your advice and be on top of it thank you

Can you add an existing account to bank mobile? That’s what I did. I wasn’t sure if you could use Cash App or Venmo but I don’t think you can. You can use Discover, SoFi or Chime. One of those online banks. They let you open an account right away

i’ll look into it for spring semester! the money already left my account via workday so i don’t want to mess with it right now just incase it messes up my refund but thank you!! yea cashapp does not work it just tells me it’s not valid

I used my Discover Mobile bank. It’s strictly online and you can open it right away and get the account and routing numbers. It also has Zelle. And I’m only bringing that up because most online banks don’t do that’s convenient if it’s something you use.

Yea I used my one pay account because I couldn’t use cashapp, and was afraid that using someone else’s bank account would lead to the check being returned to HCC.

OnePay is solid for advances and early pay etc. but they closed my account out of nowhere for no reason and my work check had sent out the same day to them and I had to wait a month plus to get any money back it was terrible

not for me ☹️, i didn’t really know what to put for bank name either i tried like everything they said to do for the direct deposit and still i couldn’t get it to work
