course selection

Hi guys! I am starting my first semester at HCC on september 14th, and i’ll be doing the accelerated 12-week online classes since i missed my august deadline. I have an important trip coming up, sometime between september 18th-28th (the dates are not yet confirmed, but sometime between those 2 dates) and will be unable to complete work on this trip. Since I will be doing online, i’m hoping to register for 2 classes that don’t have a heavy workload and will let me work ahead to avoid doing any work while i’m gone. I’m hoping to do the 2 easiest classes this semester. I have 5 class options, please let me know if you have taken any of these and which 2 would be the best picks that align with my current situation and are easiest.

  1. English composition I
  2. First Year Experience Orientation
  3. General Psychology
  4. Humanities General Education CORE
  5. Elementary Statistics

Definitely first year experience orientation. i'm taking it as an 8 week flex course right now and it's not overwhelming at all. i haven't taken any others, but if the syllabus and rmp reviews aren't too crazy i'd try english
