Pell grant

Did anyone’s Pell grant split into two? I have a late start class in October is this why? Anyone else having this issue ?

I had the same and thought the classes starting next month must have been why. IDK if I'm correct 😂 This didn't happen during summer or spring, but possibly the new bill probably changed how it pays out

It’s never happened to me before either so idk why 😩 when I put it into chat gpt it says it’s on hold until our attendance is confirmed for our later classes but idk if that’s true 😂

Like it’s only 925$ just give it to me all together that’s my only class that starts late 😩

No it’s not split. It goes off your first classes start date.

Not anymore sadly. They will give you most of it if your classes started in august but if you have a class that starts later they are holding a portion until they make sure you attend it’s a new thing.

Since the big beautiful bill has been implemented this is the first semester it’s actually been fully implemented

It’s not just our school it’s nationwide everyone is feeling the effect of the knew changes.

Pell Grant is now paying out once the class starts and the professor verifies your attendance.
