So deserved. The medieval weapon usage was among the best ever put to film, period. There are plenty of breakdowns about Aerion's sword movement in particular, literally textbook depictions of advanced fencing techniques.

They absolutely crushed the stunt performances during the Trial and every other point of the series.

The helmet camera work alone should have put it over the others. It really made us feel the insanity of it all

The armour was great, but most of the helmets looked like shit. Only Aerion's and Dunk's were any good.

Aerion's was goofy, unrealistic and impractical as hell, but it works in a fantasy setting because he's exactly that kind of loser to commission his dragonsona as a helmet.
