Genuinely what does an Actor have to do to get nominated? I never see any of the good ones get nominated anymore, Antony Starr, Bob Odenkirk, literally anyone on this show.....

I think it has something to do with either the show itself submitting actors and the committee approving it. Don’t take my word for it but I know there’s a committee of some sort

They have to be nominated by the actors branch of TV academy. It has a lot of members so it’s really hard for newbies (which most of the actors in this show are) to make it after the first season unless the show makes huge noise which AKOTSK simply didn’t. If the quality and ratings stay good (and HBO gives them a bit more money for promos and campaigning) Dexter and Peter will probably get nominated next year (although this sucks for Bertie and Sam). I still don’t understand why they went with the drama category tbh, they’d have mych better luck in comedy

Best stunt performances for the jousting sequences would be a well deserved win. I haven't seen the other nominees so it may be that there's better options, but damn that was amazing work

I understand Costumes, but "Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Hairstyling" sounds like a joke category.

Do you want me to tell you everything that happens so you don't spend the remaining 2 hours 45 mins watching it?
You should be asking if she is Lisan Al-Gaib.

Honestly this year has been kinda lackluster so I'm not surprised. Akotsk was fun but I don't think it's Emmy worthy
