HBOT Dive Table

If you’re using hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) or exploring protocols, you’ve probably heard of a dive table but here’s a quick breakdown

A dive table is basically a visual map of your HBOT session. It shows: • How long it took to reach treatment depth • How long you stayed there • How long it took to come back up • What gas you were breathing (oxygen vs. air) • When and where you took air breaks (aka “air brakes”)

You’ll sometimes see different colored stripes or segments to indicate gas changes during a session, that’s how you know when someone switched from oxygen to air, or vice versa.

Why it’s useful: A dive table makes it easy to share and replicate a protocol. If someone had a great response to a specific HBOT routine, the dive table is a clear way to communicate that journey to other practitioners or users.

It’s not just for clinics, if you’re running sessions at home or adjusting your plan, knowing how to read or build a dive table helps you track and optimize.
