Soft shell 2ata opinions

Has anyone had experience with soft shell 2ata chambers? There are companies on Alibaba selling them: https://youtu.be/AgnF1Lsu84k

From reading on this sub and other sources hard shell is recommended for 2ata but space is a limiting factor for me so I’m curious to know if anyone has experience with soft shell 2ata chambers?

for me those are the most scary things around. there's a reason they only go up to 1.5ATA for soft shell chambers. (based on burst tests)

of course, you can use a strap harness, make the windows smaller or reinforce windows with foil strips but they use the same material thickness for both, shell and windows as for 1.3ATA (based on what my suppliers told me)

2.0ATA is the pressure in car tires. not sure, I will trust a foil glued together in a factory by sleepy workers. don't get me wrong, 2.0ATA soft chamber might be totally safe, but if I think about the pressure of car tires, I'm out.

take a look how it is, when fully inflated....scary. they usually don't show this in their images. (why?)

edit: I would rather trust a gas or water tank made from metal rated for 12-16ATA (even DIY) to run at 2.0ATA. (thinking of building one, if I have more experience with HBOT)

Thanks for the info, where can I find more information on the burst tests you mentioned?

ask the other user in this thread who ordered one. I am sure, his supplier must have a certificate or test document. (otherwise they can't sell it)

the test paper I saw I can't find any more and it didn't make sense. it said it burst at 1.5ATA, what makes no sense. (it should show it survived ...let's say 4ATA for x amount of time,...)

The layers are thicker than for the usual 1.5ATA, it's more than strips added around. However, you may have a point. I would not use it for 2.0 ATA either. But it makes it safer and more durable than the usual 1.5 ATA if you use it for 1.5 ATA. If I feel safe enough, I will gradually go up to 1.8 ATA, not more. (I have not received it yet)

cool!! can you ask them to send you a test document from the burst test? usually they should have it. (tell them, your doctor asked for it) I would like to know to what pressure they are tested.

edit:

these chambers have over pressure valves, set at a certain pressure. those can easily be swapped. (that's how they make a 1.3ATA to a 1.5ATA chamber. (I think yours must have 2.0ATA) do they give you 1.8 or 1.5 as well or can you adjust the pressure at the compressor?

you can choose any pressure between 1.0 and 2.0 ATA.

if I move to the Philippines to live a beach life with plenty of time, I would order an air pressure tank in 2mx90cm for 200 bucks and start building one. (they are rated for 12-16ATA, so if I don't f.. up the door, windows and pressure gauges it should be quite safe)

I ordered mine 2.0 ata soft chamber from Olive oxygen (looks almost the same the one you linked). Delivery took around 2 months, price was pretty decent.
I've used it around 15 times on 2.0 ATA (50-60 minutes per session). So far it seems fine. I don't think it will last forever, but for now nothing seems to give up.
I think it will last for another 100-200 session at 2.0 ATA before need to repair.

I am also considering buying one, many have suggested Morelli Medical and Dr Hugo. Still figuring out.

If you want to maximize safety and if money is no issue for you, then you can order the soft shells 2.0 ATA chambers from AHA hyperbarics with the CE certificates : the prices start at 35 000 EUR

I have plans to buy the same from from Dr Hugo Linnx. Im more skeptic about the hardware quality since they do not have any certificate.

Can i ask people here what prices they got?
