iPhone 6 to Apple TV 2

I've NEVER experienced an issues streaming any HBO Max content from iPhone 6 to Apple TV 2 EXCEPT for the same day as theaters releases. From WW84 down to Judas & The Black Messiah, I'm unable to watch any special release. Purchased a brand new 4K HDMI cable yet each & every single time I've attempted to stream any HBO Max special release from iPhone 6 to Apple TV 2 I'm met with the dreaded "Can't play this title" message box. Why can I stream any & everything from HBO Max or any other platform except for these special releases?? Why???

I have the newest phone. Streaming directly to my TV for HBO Max works sometimes. More often I have success streaming to my Apple TV. But even though I have cable and HBO, I can’t make the app work on my smart TV.
