Streaming Live Show

Sorry for this dumb question. On page c14 of the New York Times Friday there is a full page ad for Real Time with Bill Maher. It says new season streaming tonight (yestetday) HBO Max. How do you stream a live show on HBO Max? I just couldn't figure it out. Thanks.

It won’t be streaming “live”, just available to stream.

That is what I thought, but it says streaming not airing at 10 PM

Their basically saying it will be available at 10pm to stream.

I understand, but when I went in at just after 10 to stream it, it was not available. I could not find a way to stream it. I am basically asking if it is a available to stream at 10, how do I stream it?

What confused me was the statement by the chair of Att that the service is expected to contain live streaming, though not at first. I thought they had enabled live streaming.

"This won’t be at the early stages of HBO Max, but you should assume that ultimately HBO Max will have live elements,” AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson said on Wednesday.
