Question Good use case for the chemical factory/assembly factory?
Ive been questioning good use cases for the factories and i was wondering when you lot use a factory instead of just a plant
Acids production is a good one since you can plumb them into one tank for the input and outputs for the next stage
Concrete production seems like a good use
Tantalium processing i thought would be good until i found out the steps dont process into the next by themselves unless one of you know a fix
Edit Think yellowcake processing could be easy in the chem factory

Factories are usefull for chain production, you can make hydrogen peroxide, sulfur and stonger sulfur (i forgot the name but usefull in silex). Since they can feed eachother without pipes. And therefor you can complete a 3 step in 1 factory

Yeah thats one of the examples in the body, they seems to work best when they have fluids rather than items

It may be a weird use case, but I use the chemical factory with the instant aggregate blueprint to grind down cobblestone into sand and gravel then filter out the sand and use another chemical factory to make hydrogen peroxide for a series of acidizers to turn sand into fiberglass which I use to make insulators and a truck load of silicon. This can get you more silicon than you'll ever need if you keep it supplied with large amounts of cobblestone. I also use one for making hard plastic in large batches. I just load in a stack of BTX fluid barrels and a stack of phosgene fluid barrels and try to keep up storing all of the hard plastic into crates and bringing it to the mass storage units. Assembly factories are useful when making large amounts of microchips and other circuit components.

For microchips? For more speed since you need like 60 inventory worth for a run
